Who is eligible for a tax refund?
As a traveller, just because you have paid tax, does not mean you are eligible for a refund.
Firstly, you have to stay, or intend to stay continuously in Australia for at least 6 months. Also, you have to stay or intend to stay in one place continuously for 6 months.
How do I apply for my tax refund?

How much does it cost?
Our tax specialists charge $89aud for lodging your tax return. Other work and travel companies charge a minimum $99aud PLUS a commission of your hard earned cash refund.
What do I need to complete my tax return?
We make things easy for you with no forms or applications. You only need to supply your final payslip or final Payment Summary for each job you had, your tax file number and of course your bank account details. You can come into one of our job offices in Sydney or Melbourne, or you can complete an online form.
How much money can I expect back?
Our customers average a return of $2,000aud. There are alot of different criteria that affect your return - how many jobs you had, how long you worked at each job, how much you were paid at each job.... this is why we cannot tell you the exact amount, but we can tell you to expect a positive return.
