Student events representative Sydney

A well-known event company in Sydney leads events and marketing company targeting international students and travellers living in Sydney.

They provide event planning services to student groups and organisations throughout Sydney and we also currently promote and organise 7 events per week in bars and nightclubs.

About the role:

We are seeking a keen individual with previous experience in either events and marketing and an understanding of student events.  Duties include:

  • Servicing over 100 locations through Sydney with promotional materials.
  • Building and maintaining rapport with key industry partners.
  • Selling event packages and booking in functions with student groups and organisations.
  • Keeping organised communications with clients via telephone, email and face to face and providing excellent customer service.

Event representative Sydney

A well-know entertainment company in Sydney is leading events and marketing company targeting international students and travellers living in Sydney.

They currently promote and organise 7 events per week in bars and nightclubs. We are seeking a keen individual with previous experience in either events, promotions or tourism.

About the role:

The role will be part time, mostly evening shifts approximately 20 hours per week. Your role will be to maintain existing relationships with key individuals in 30-50 locations throughout Sydney. These locations are mainly hostels and travel agencies.

You will be responsible for ensuring that these locations are serviced with our promotional material and communication is maintained with key individuals.

You will be required to work some late nights and must have an outgoing attitude. You must have a passion for nightlife and LOVE to party!

Skills:

- You must have a high level of English - please do not apply if English is not your first language.

- You must have some previous experience in either the promotions, events or tourism industries.

- Must be outgoing and able to maintain relationships, very polite and well presented.
