Your Port Stephens tour starts off early in the morning at At the bus zone at 814 George street, Haymarket. We start our day early, throw on some tunes and hit the road.

Port Stephens is 215kms North of Sydney roughly the same distance as Brussels to Amsterdam.  So we are on the bus for about 2.5 hours before we hit our first stop.
Before we get to Shoal beach, we hit a shopping centre where people can buy themselves some snacks, drinks and put them in our eskies.

we head over to jump on a boat and see Dolphins ($20 extra) or walk along the coast over to Fly Point dive spot where you guys can use our snorkels to check out some local marine life.
After some snorkelling or dolphins, we will head to a nearby park and cook up an authentic Australian BBQ lunch with kangaroo meat vegetarian options.

For those who wish to do the sandboarding we jump aboard a big 4WD bus which drives us along the sand dunes over to the sandboarding slopes where there are several variations in steepness and size so everyone can have fun and have a go

After sandboarding we jump back in the bus and drive over to Mount Tomaree. Take an easy walk to the Tomaree Headlands look out point, at the summit, there are unparalleled views of the Port Stephens coastline or Shoal Bay which is a beautiful stretch of clear blue water and off-white sand with Nelson Bay Lighthouse on one end and the monolithic Mount Tomaree towering spectacularly in the distance on the other. We kick our feet back, relax on the sand and splash about on the beach. After the hike we cross the road to another local favourite, Zenith beach.

Then we jump on the bus and head back to Sydney arriving that night at around 7:30pm where people are able to enjoy a free drink and unwind after their big day.

Day 1 : Port Stephens Aussie Day Trip to the BEACH

Jump on our cool retro bus called Trudy with a bunch of other likeminded travellers for a beach day up north at Port Stephens. The day is as Aussie as it gets kicking off with Sandboarding (option to swap out to camel riding instead, $15 extra on the day) then we head past the bottleshop on our way to the 90 min dolphin watching boat tour. This tour is optional extra ($20 on the day) though feel free to pass it up and chillout on one of the nearby beaches, walk round the local beachtown or grab a snorkel and go for a swim. We then have an Aussie feast with none other than a Big Aussie BBQ. After lunch we head over to Tomaree Headland hike (moderate) and panoramic views which are absolutely amazing. After heading back down we spend a little more time at a cool little beach which is usually empty (hard to find). Grab a pillow and have a nap on your ride back to Sydney and there will be Tim Tams! Free beer/wine/soft drink and nibbles at a cool bar in Sydney to end our Aussie Day Trip
