Pro Dive Cairns is recognized world wide as a leader in all aspects of scuba diving education. We offer students a professional and safe learning environment and combine it with spectacular dive locations on the Great Barrier Reef. Our custom built training centre is located in Cairns and there is no better place in the world to learn to dive! Water temperatures range from 22°C to 30°C allowing comfortable diving all year round. The PADI 5 day learn to dive course is broken down to two components:

1) 2 days of pool and classroom training

2) 3 day 2 night liveaboard trip to the outer Great Barrier Reef

You will spend your first two days at our training centre where you will learn the academics of scuba diving & then in the pool where you put these basics into practice. At the end of day 2 you are invited to attend “Reef Teach” which is a marine biology presentation where you will learn about the Great Barrier Reef (additional cost)

Guests: 32 passengers on the liveaboard. Maximum 8 students per dive instructor

Whats Included: 9 Dives, PADI Open Water Certificate, PADI Open Water Manual (various languages), 2 passport photos, accommodation transfers, all dive equipment, log book, dive insurance, all accommodation (twin share) and meals while on board.

Day 3, 4, and 5 are spent onboard one of our vessels out on the Great Barrier Reef. Whilst on the reef you take part in your 4 training/qualifying dives, which completes your PADI Open Water certification. After this you are able to enjoy 5 more dives as a recreational diver, one of which is a night dive guided by your instructor. These dives on the Great Barrier Reef will be truly spectacular and the highlight of your course. On your return to Cairns, passengers and crew get together in a local restaurant to celebrate the conclusion of your trip.
