What You See:

Day 1 Uluru Base Walk and Uluru Sunset. We camp at Ayers Rock Campground

Day 2 Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta, we camp at Kings Creek Station

Day 3 Kings Canyon walk and finish in Alice Springs at 5pm. Stay 1 night in Alice Springs (6 share mixed dorm included in package)

Day 4 Transfer from your accommdoation around 5:30am in Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Airport by 11.30am.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Pick up from Ayers Rock Airport or Ayers Rock Resort from midday

You will be picked up from Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or Ayers Rock Resort just after 12:00pm (*we pick up from all flights from 12pm - 2pm). Meet The Rock Tour Bus at the front of the Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or at the front of your Hotel. Take in the breath taking sight of Uluru the World’s Largest Rock. You then have time to complete a guided Uluru Base Walk around Uluru. You will see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave Paintings before heading to Uluru Sunset. We spend this night at the Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers after having dinner watching the sunset over Uluru.

Day 2 : Visit Uluru for Sunrise & Kata Tjuta

We leave the Ayers Rock Campground before sunrise to take in Uluru Sunrise before heading to The Olgas. Feel the spiritual significance on a guided walk through to the Valley of the Winds atKata Tjuta. Be shown bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the 'Tjukurpa' Dreamtime. We spend this night at the historic Kings Creek Station with toilets and showers, 20km from Kings Canyon.

Day 3 : Kings Canyon and stay 1 night at the YHA Alice Springs

Kings Canyon. Enjoy a 3 hour guided hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the many Amphitheatres, North & South Walls and the beautiful Garden of Eden. We stop on the way home for an optional Camel Ride at the Camel Farm and head back to Alice Springs at 5pm. You will spend one night at the YHA Alice Springs (included in package in a 6 share mix dorm room). Back to civilization. Get cleaned up and we meet later with your Guide for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar (meals from $10).

Day 4 : Transfer Bus from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Airport

We will pick up from the YHA in Alice Springs at 5:30am and drive back to Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport. You have a 6 hour bus trip to the Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport and we will arrive between 11.30am - 11.45am** **Please note - We CANNOT make the 11.00am flight from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport. Please call us on 1800 246 345 to confirm flight departure details if unsure**  

The 4 days / 3 nights Rock Tour visits Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon and also includes a night in Alice Springs. The tour starts from either Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport* or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Resort from 12:00pm. The customer will return back to Alice Springs on Day 3 at 5:00pm (YHA - dorm night included) and depart on a DIRECT Transfer from Alice Springs on Day 4 at 5:30am. They will arrive back at the Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport at 11:30am or the Ayers Rock Resort at 12:00pm on Day 4. 

*The Rock Tour picks up from the Outback Pioneer (Ayers Rock Resort) at 12.00pm or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport at around 12.40pm (times may vary according to day light saving time).

We run daily except for a few days over Christmas and New Year (No Tours available on 23/12, 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 30/12, 31/12, 01/01)

Extras

$25.00 Uluru Park Entry Fee to be paid locally.

You can also hire a sleeping bag for the 3 day camping tour. In the winter we offer warm -10 Degrees Sleeping Bags and also light sleeping bags for the summer months for $20.

Please note from 1st April 2017 the sleeping bag hire will be $20.00 and can be paid locally.

What to bring

$25 Uluru Park Fee to pay on the day to the tour guide
You need 3 litres of water for the walks. You can purchase this when you arrive into Ayers Rock
Summer - A Hat and Sunscreen is required
Summer - A Fly net is also recommended
A good paid of trainers or walking shoes are required for the walks on tour
