Itinerary

Day 1 : ADELAIDE TO FLINDERS RANGES

Kick things off with a visit to the Barossa Reservoir Whispering Wall, a fascinating accident of design with surprising results. We’ll stop off at the town of Clare and meet the locals in the pub after a spectacular sunset.

Day 2 : FLINDERS RANGES

Flinders Ranges National Park has everything – from mountains to gorges, red rock and crater-like formations. And you get to play in it. You lucky thing, you.

Day 3 : FLINDERS RANGES TO COOBER PEDY

Destination: Coober Pedy. Famous for opals, and locals who live underground. We’ll take a mine tour before meeting the joeys at the Kangaroo Orphanage. Cute!

Day 4 : COOBER PEDY TO ALICE SPRINGS

Cross the Moon Plain and pop across the border into the Northern Territory today. The resort pool will be waiting.

Day 5 : ALICE SPRINGS TO ULURU, KATA TJUTA NATIONAL PARK.

We're off to Yulara (the gateway resort to Uluru) for lunch. This afternoon there’s a guided walking tour of Uluru itself. See it in all its glory at sunset before honing your BBQ skills at dinner tonight.

Day 6 : ULURU, KATA TJUTA NATIONAL PARK.

Sunrise at Uluru is a little bit special. You won’t mind setting your alarm. Then, go on a full base walk. If you like, you can take a camel ride, enjoy a scenic flight over the big rock, or even skydive (if that’s your kinda vibe).

Day 7 : ULURU, KATA TJUTA NATIONAL PARK TO KINGS CANYON.

Head on into the heart of sacred Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and walk amongst the 36 red sandstone giants through the Valley of the Winds. Tonight we get our swag on and sleep under the stars.

Day 8 : KINGS CANYON TO ALICE SPRINGS.

No pain, no gain. So get yourself up the 500 steps in Kings Canyon before we get to the Garden of Eden.

Day 9 : ALICE SPRINGS.

This morning we head out on an excursion through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Then it's back to Alice for a late lunch and a last chance to explore before we wrap up the trip. It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
