A well-know entertainment company in Sydney is leading events and marketing company targeting international students and travellers living in Sydney.
They currently promote and organise 7 events per week in bars and nightclubs. We are seeking a keen individual with previous experience in either events, promotions or tourism.
About the role:
The role will be part time, mostly evening shifts approximately 20 hours per week. Your role will be to maintain existing relationships with key individuals in 30-50 locations throughout Sydney. These locations are mainly hostels and travel agencies.
You will be responsible for ensuring that these locations are serviced with our promotional material and communication is maintained with key individuals.
You will be required to work some late nights and must have an outgoing attitude. You must have a passion for nightlife and LOVE to party!
- You must have a high level of English - please do not apply if English is not your first language.
- You must have some previous experience in either the promotions, events or tourism industries.
- Must be outgoing and able to maintain relationships, very polite and well presented.
- An understanding of Sydney's backpacker culture is essential, preferably either living in or have previously lived in backpacker accommodation.
We love to party and this job comes with LOADS of perks including free drinks at our events every night, tickets for festivals and big events in Sydney.
We pay an hourly wage but there is plenty of commission work available also to earn extra money!
Full training will be provided, you will be required to work 2 unpaid trial shifts before commencement of the role.
