Auckland to Whangarei
🚐 About 2 hours (around 160 km)
Leave Auckland on the northern motorway and detour to Matakana for the farmers market (Saturday) and a cellar door or two. Continue north to Whangarei, with Whangarei Falls and the Town Basin. Matakana has a market on Saturdays. Whangarei Falls is a short walk.
