Alice Springs to Erldunda
🚐 About 2.5 hours (around 200 km)
Leave Alice via the Stuart Highway and stop at Stuart's Well roadhouse for a coffee. Turn off at Erldunda for the Lasseter Highway if you plan to go to Uluru first, or continue to Kings Canyon via Watarrka. Stock up in Alice Springs before leaving. Erldunda is a good overnight if you want an early start for the next day, with the famous emu statues out front. The Stuart Highway is a 130 km/h road in parts, so keep an eye on speed limits.
