Alice Springs to Ellery Creek Big Hole
🚐 About 1 hour (around 90 km)
Leave Alice via Larapinta Drive, stopping at Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm. Swim at Ellery Creek Big Hole in warmer months. Start early and take Larapinta Drive west. Simpsons Gap is the first stop, with rock wallabies in the early morning. Standley Chasm is best around midday, when sunlight reaches the floor. Ellery Creek has cold, clear water for a swim.
